Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. The only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her career in show business in the early years of her life. When she reached the age of 16, Alexandra had landed leading roles in several television dramas. The audience was impressed by her role as a character in Der Tunnel.
