Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. She's best known as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already landed several television roles, including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this actress. Through the years, Alexandra has worked in several noteworthy national and international projects. These projects comprise British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She has also been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and the Cannes Film Festival.
